We have problem in which we cant understand the caller at all. They can hear us fine. There is NO issues with the ISDN lines we are using. BT has check the trunks and has said all the channels are neat. Also there is NO issues with the WAN traffic as the internal calls work fine between the sites. Also when we dial over local trunk there in no issues. Its only happen on the inbounds on the local trunks.

I am using MM710 DS1 which is brand new firmware 018 on Media Gateway G350 firmware 26.31.0. We have 4 G350 and 2 G700 on different site locations and they have no issues at all.

I tried resetting the DS1 but then the trunk shows OoS and they never comes up. The only way to make this work is to reset the chassis. After you do the reset chassis both party can hear each other without any issues. This work for 24 hours then we need to reset it again.

Do anyone have any ideas what it could be.

Thanks

Thanks Murph51 for your reply.

The codec sets are same as others which we are using for other sites and they dont have any issues, also we have different network region but the settings are the same as others. Syncronization is done as well.Right now I am reseting the chassis every morning so that it work OK for whole day.

Are you seeing any slippage on the circuit?

When you test the board is it failing any tests?

Go back to BT and ask them to double check, i've worked for BT and know from experience they sometimes tell you an old bull sh!t
