Extension and ID I use the authentication for my SIP line the password is the password, maybe there is an option in some SIP lines to use different extensions with the same ID but I had to use the same value for both.
Not as an extension on an R5 IPO though
i have only tried 3cx and the xlite one. neither worked no matter what i tried, not sure how to read the logs either. All i see when i enable the logging on the 3cx is "internal server error".
Just tested Express Talk, Has Transfer feature that seems to work fine.
Full Display Name : Username or other
Server : IP Address of IP Office
SIP Number : 250 (IP Office Extension Number)
Password : IPO Login Password
Advanced Line Settings
Authentication User Name
Use Different username just for authentication
Auth ID : IPO Username
im running 3.1.6288.0 and the transfer action is top left next to the hold button, when i click it, it holds line1 opens line 2 and allows me to dial, when i click transfer again to complete it disconnects the second call and i get an internal server error message.
Maybe you have a later release?

same here Tom and I get server failure when I try to transfer. I checked and there is a new version out 3.1.8571 I installed it and it happens with that too
