Hello,

I need some help to use FOXISAPI.DLL. I followed the instructions but I get error messages VERY VERY often.. some times it works, some times I get messages like timeout...

Please help!

Or is there some other way to get data from web page forms into vfp and export data from vfp to web pages?

What error are you getting? Mike Gagnon

Sebi,

What exactly are you trying to do. What errors are you getting?

Have you tried running the Foxisapi sample app that comes with VFP? It doesn't do anything particularly useful, but at least it will help you determine whether it is your code which is at fault or something in the configuration.

There are literally thousands of ways to do this... If you explain further what you need to accomplish, we can help describe ways of doing it (with and without FoxISAPI.dll)

Hello all,

I'm trying to write an app which get data from a web page form (like a subscription form), processes the inputed datas, and returns the results into a web page. The users only interact with the web pages. It's a program for e-learning. The user subscribes, get some tests on his web browser, sends the answers to the question, and gets another set of tests and his results.
It's a PHARE project for implementing e-learning in Romania.

The most frequent error message is "server timeout: 5 secs". My VFP progs and the web server is the same computer, so there is no reason for waiting. Even when it works, it's very slow! It takes 2-5 secs. to display the results. I'm using the FOXWEB project from VFP7, WITHOUT any modifications. Just compliled, copied into inetsvr/scripts, registred with regsvr32. I'm using IIS5.1 built into winXP.

Many thanks in advance,

Sebi.
