I have new extensions on a kx-td1232-7. I'm going to have to permanently forward it busy/ no answer to their existing kx-tvs125 mailboxes. Is there a way to set it so that it's always on & not subject to the Fwd/Dnd key? I don't want them to hit that key accidently (turning it off)& maybe not lighting the Fwd/Dnd key would be nice......Thanks

& for 621 it reads: cordless ext
It's a kx-td1232-7. Any thoughts?

well it should not be to hard to find it so try this

press programe
type (password) ie *#6543
type 000
now use the fwd/dnd button until you find EXT Intercep Day
once you find it follow above instructions

by the looks of it panasonic have changed the numbering again

but EXT Intercep Day is what your looking for

hey riv not sure that is an option on our software

I don't think so either, I've scoured the thing through and through. I'm thinking the only way to do it is to use the fwd/dnd button.
any thoughts?

best we can do here is fwd b/na each ext to 165

sorry guys
your right this is something we have extra here a rather big thing to leave out of your systems below is the full manual page just to prove we can do
i wonder if a set of v6 chips from here would work in one of your systems

Feature References Section 3, Features,
Intercept Routingur systems???

yes we have never had that feature and i would trade
lunchbreak mode for predetermined call forwarding anyday

Rivet, One of these days I'd like to try switching chips.
I'm pretty sure it would work. Although Some things like T1/E1 stuff wouldn't be usable because of differences.
CWC3, I'm with you. What a poor trade-off! Extension intercept anyday

i can tell you no one likes the solid or flashing dnd light

i would think that all would work after all i use the same software as you

I never really found the FWD light to be a problem. I work for one of Panasonic Aust's larger dealers and we install minimum 7 systems a day and 5 of those would have voicemail at least. I've never once in the last 5 years had anyone complain about the FWD light.

7 a day wow. not complianing with flashing dnd light
on older ksu's hard to believe
