Hello,
I've been trying to set up call forwarding to forward unconditionally if a number is called. It keeps going to voicemail without even getting through to the number to be forwarded to. I've tried disabling voicemail only to be presented with a busy tone. The system no answer time is 15 minutes, I've tried using the right shortcodes, yet it just isn't working. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

What excactly did you do?

Where is the incomming call routed to? The station or a huntgroup?

what is the destination for CFW? Internal Number? Is this internal Number aktiv / Logged in? Is this happen if no CFW is aktivated? More input needed... ;-)

Obviously it is of eminent relevance, that I this, what you celeprate, not optimally effective assume, since the integrate of you in the communicative system as code related terms with me no explosive associations in mental-empirical reproduction process of the mind.

is it a real phone? it needs to be real or at least have hot desk turned on, so the system cant tell it isn't connected. you cant forward a phantom phone.

^ that is incorrect. You absolutely can forward phantom extensions.

If a forwarded users ends up in voicemail, or a busy when voicemail is turned off, the forwarding path is invalid. Do you have Inhibit Off-Switch Forward/Transfer checked in System>Telephony>Telephony? If you are using Analog Trunks, did you check Trunk to Trunk transfer?

You need to detail what you've actually done, what you've told us is "sketchy" at best :)

In older versions you need a H.323 extension setup for the phantom user (not a physical extension) in order to get calls going to a external destination.

System no answer timer is very likely 15 seconds unless your data field shows 900.

Check system status> active calls when transferring and use monitor to view the event to ascertain what is causing the issue.

Thank you TouchToneTommy! I didn't know about the Inhibit Off-Switch Forward/Transfer option. It was checked, hence the problem. It works fine after unchecking the option.

Intigrant is not 100% correct
on SOME older versu=ions of software a phanto user was needed because Avaya Broke things.

This only affected certain builds of certain releases. (& is probably due for a comeback through Avaya's Bug Recycling program :) )

however if everything else is 100% correct then adding a h323 extn to prove is always woth a shot

Do things on the cheap & it will cost you dear
