User receptionist transfers calls to a "team" lead DN.

Wants calls to HUNT on busy or FORWARD after no answer to the next phone in the team, through the entire team of 5 (6 DNs total). My FNA gets stuck at the third phone (2nd FNA) and keeps ringing.

CLS is set to HTA and FNA. FDN and HUNT are set to the right DNs. Is there a way with FNA to continue forwarding like SFA is to call forward?

Nope. FNA will only go twice with SFA enabled. Sounds like bhassell2000 has the right idea. You might want to change your setup and use MCR. This will ring the "team" all at the same time allowing for anyone of the team members to answer if available.

MCR has it's drawbacks , but you definately want all people to have the ringing line.

You could set "Delayed Ring" on the phones you do not want to alert first. Delayed Ring turns an otherwise non-ringing line into a ringing line after a certain number of seconds.

On the TN, set DNDR value in seconds.

If you put the same MCR key twice, you get a busy (or busy treatment) if the second call comes in while the first call is ringing. You do get the ability for one call taker to answer another ringing call while on or after finishing a call on the other MCR.

You can use a ring group (is that the correct Nortel term?) to answer the MCR.

This is true for my Opt 11 Rel 3.

Your mileage may vary.

Hmmm....thanks all for your input. I'll have to think about this. Personally, I don't think anyone is going to stay on the line for 12 rings if the first three phones don't answer.

Gene, with delayed ring, how does that work? Do you have to do anything with CLS? Or, do you just program....

ITEM DNDR 5(seconds)?

How do you specify which SCN should ring after X seconds? So, can I have the same DN appearance on three phones and program one to ring after 5 seconds, one after 10 seconds, etc.?

Not too bad - create a MARP TN with a longer RCO, set these DNs on that, then set the DNDR to be longer than the standard RCO. Now only the DNs you want will becoming rining.
