We have a Main server and backup server and 5 ess. Main server lost control of Port networks and backup took
control of all Port networks.

We need to manually make Main server take control os all PN.

I know we need to run command "get forced-takeover ipserver-interface all" from main server.

Is there anything else we need to do? any other commands?

how do we test if all is good after take-over and it is succesful?(status ESS port network ?)

any other tests required?

CM 4.0 and s8720...

perform a "list ips" This will give you the status of all IPSI boards.

Another way to check to see if the main server is comtrolling the gateway is to do a list conf port x (or all)

If it shows all the boards then it's controling the 650, if it says "no board" then the GW is being controlled by the ESS.
