flashing power LED light on BCM 50e 1

Can not get line active on the bcm50e. All keycodes are good and active. Under the resource the int trunk are saying enabling... I think that as something to do with the flashing power LED light on the front of the unit.
 
Silly queation, have you got the lead for the expansion chassis connected to either the 3rd or 4th port on the main unit.

The reason I say this is because I know an engineer who had a similar issue, and found he had the lead plugged into the LAN port next to the OAM port.

I do not a have an expansion mod. connected on the unit.
 
I had a 50 do the same thing. Nortel replaced it. Heard thru the grapevine that this has happened to others.
