Hi,

I have a subform which has a field for each supplier detailing various product types for each supplier in the format of "Calibration, Gauges, Instrumentation, Valves" etc.

I also have an unbound combobox which contains each of the items listed above.

What I need to to do is to select a product from the combobox which will then filter the subform to show all the suppiers who can supply this product.

Cheers,
Alanach

Hi

A criteria on the query on which the subform is based of Like "*" & Forms!MyMainForm!MyCombo & "*" should do it

using your own form and control names of course

and you will need to requery the subform control in the after update event of the combo box, eg

MySubFormControl.requery

It works! Thanks. I was barking up the wrong tree entirely.
