Is it possible to upload the company's main auto attendant greeting (EMEM) via FTP once it's been converted to the right WAV format?

Thanks!

It can probably be done but I would say you probably shouldn't

The main hurdle is enabling FTP on the 200 as this is not enabled by default and I've forgotten how.

Beyond that, you would need to find the existing greeting, not a small feat unless you know the name.

At that point replacing the file with a new one is a minor task.

OK thanks. I'm trying to avoid having to connect a laptop to a phone to playback the greeting file for best audio... If you find those instructions let me know and I can poke around.

I was told the ftp enable by tech support ages ago, never wrote it down.

I've queried the forum several times about it and know one else seems to know it either.

I was kind of hoping you knew it.

Wow, that post takes me back, good times.

As it turns out, FTP is supported, at least it is now, maybe not in 2007.

But you need to send a command on the console (port 2002)
