Hi,
I have Avaya IX WOrkplace 3.8 but I couldn't see Feature Manager to login/logout from Hunt group.
Any Clue?
Is there special settings in the 46xxsettings file need to be enabled?

Cannot find the feature manager hunt group enable/disable neither. Can anyone advise?
IPO: R11.1
IX Workplace: R3.8.4 and R3.8.5
Make no difference after changing user > menu programming > enable change service status. What is the trick?

IX Workplace Feature Manager was actually available in R11.0.4.3 but not in R11.1.0 any more.

@Barahm

The issue is you do not have rights to untick yourself in an out of a huntgroup. For obvious reasons this is not default.
To setup rights, login to the Manager go to the User Profile, Menu Programming and HUNTGROUP. This is where you will give the individual rights to login and out of a huntgroup. After this change you may need to log out and log back into the IX Workplace to pickup the latest configuration

Made the changes as required but it is not working!! The version I am running is 3.8.4.
@bahmonkeys & @Stannz, what version are you running?

The option you need to tick is "Can Change Member State"

I have tried this on Avaya IX Workplace for Mobile and the Soft Client for PC. Only people that have "Can change member state" enabled has the rights to get in and out of huntgroups.

Are you talking about the menu under User Profile-Menu Programming? I did tick the Can Change membership and Change Service Status but no luck.
Am I still missing anything?

Thanks bahmonkeys.
Got it working now. Wish Avaya have a better documentation.
User > Menu Programming > Hunt Group > Tick groups in "Can Change Membership"

Test environment:
IPO SE R11.1.0
IX Workplace: R3.8.4 and R3.8.5

With above settings in Manager, also works in IPO R11.1.0 and IX Workplace 3.7.1

This does work on 11.4.2 + but only supported by Avaya from 11.1. We've been using it in the office for ages.

Support was added to IX for Containerised and the programming had already been down in the IPO code.

How to reach or open the feature (Feature manager) on the Avaya IX Workplace?? I know there is a "Feature Manager" button has to at the bottom right of App but I don't see that. I only see the Manage Audio and Video devices button. Is there any thing has to be enabled on the 46xxsettings file to get this button appear?

Nothing at all to be changed on 46xx, auto gen file is all we use for everything.

IX 3.8+ is what you need.

In R11.0.4.2 or .3, nothing to set. Feature Manager button appears automatically.

In R11.1.0, User > Menu Programming > Hunt Group > Tick groups in "Can Change Membership". Then Feature Manager button appears at bottom right automatically. No need to restart IX Workplace.
Works in R3.7.x and R3.8.x IX Workplace.

Just found today that if the user is not a member of any groups, feature manager will not show on IX. Add them to a group, and it will come up immediately.

Hey Guys,

Does the Feature Manager function exist within 11.0.4.1 or is it only 11.0.4.2 and up?

Thank you

A friendly bump for anyone who might know the answer to this.

Although in 11.0.4.1 and 11.0.4.2 IX Workplace can show the Feature Manager button, you cannot change the hunt group enable/disable (unless you have a physical phone associated with the IX Workplace).
In R11.1.0, Hunt Group enable / disable can be set by IX Workplace (with or without an associated physical deskphone). Once you ticked "Can Change Membership" (see my post above), the Feature Manager button appears automatically on the IX Workplace client.
IX Workplace Feature Manager hunt group control is officially supported in R11.1.
