Fax on Avaya PBX

Hi,

I'm having a problem with our fax. We used it like an agent. The scenario is, when someone from other country sends a fax, it will go to a hunt group and will be queued. But during our testing, we were able to receive a fax tone and connect to the fax, but when it started to send, we will can receive a report with this error "communication error". We already defined the pass-through setting in the codec. The fax has no problem because we were to send a fax but we didn't dialled the international number. Is there a solution for this? Thanks....

which systemis it? Have you set your sync source?

what type of port is it 2500/K2500?

receiving a fax from another country dosnt have a bareing on the problem.

plug an analog phone into the socket and see if you can make and receive calls

We are using s8720 with G3R and G650. The typr of the phone is K2500. How do I use the sync source? Thanks.
