Hello,

We want to connect an AudioCodes MP112 to an IP500 (4.2.4).
It's possible to call in an out on the AudioCodes, but the fax will not get connect.
Turned off V.34 on the fax, we're using G.711 and on the IP500 we have a valid IP EndPoint license. The ip extension has the following options ticked.

- Enable Faststart for non-Avaya IP Phones
- Fax Transport Support
- Out of Band DTMF
- Local Tones

Has anyone got this working?

thanks in advance

Bas

If you look in monitor, do you see a registration error ?
Whe tried to connect a 4690 and it just does not register on 4.2.4 even with the ip endpoint license

Can you try on 4.1.15 and see if that works ?

When you use fax you have to turn T.38 off in MP-112, IPO does not support T.38.
When I use MP-112 I use ip trunks and for extensions I use ip-endpoint license
Works for me

Got it working now, the only thing on the extension that needs to be ticked was enable fast start. The rest of the settings had to be done in the AudioCodes.

Thanks for your response

Bas,

Did you get both ports on the MP112 registered as an H323 extension?
I've tested a similar setup but couldn't get more than one port on the audiocodes registered with the IPOffice as an H323 extension (yes there were multiple IPendpoint licenses).

Just installed with one port, also because of just 1 IP endpoint license. Maybe next time i could test in our Lab.

I'll let you know, have a nice weekend.

are you using just one mp112 on the device side?

Yes just ONE MP112 on site "B" that is connected over VPN to a SOE on Site "A" with a 1 IP End-points License.

Please post if you ever get the 2nd port working later. I'm looking to get rid of my analog cabling infrastructure and go with these type of devices to connect any cordless phones/faxes in our plant.

Somewhere around the €140,- / 175,- US Dollars.
