Fax Machines not working with 0x8 ASMS 1

I have a customer that previously had their PRI service with AT&T. They now cut over to TelePacific. They currently have a MICS 0x32 with 4.0 XC software. They had an existing 0x8 ASM and we piggybacked another 0x8 ASM for a total of 16 analog ports. They are able to receive faxe's but now they cannot fax out. They receive a transmission error. Any hints as to what may be causing trouble?

I tried to talk them out of it but as the addage goes, money talks and BS walks. I told them that the bandwith compression with TelePacific may be an issue but not sure.

Monitor the ata extension while faxing out, even better if you had a digit grabber that displays every nuance on the line, see if can hear a handshake between faxes and at what moment it drops.

Thanks ironhorse I will try that trouble shooting tip. Sounds like a good way to test the ata transmission. I will keep you guys posted on a resolution.
