New PC, HP, with an HP fax modem installed, and HP Laserjet 1022nw, shared. Machine is joined to a domain, printer works for all users on the network.

Fax is set to automatically print received faxes. When a fax goes into the print queue, the print queue hangs. Nothing prints, jobs stack in the queue. If you restart the print spooler (which restarts the fax service as well) the job prints. Happens with every incoming fax.

No other printer troubles exist.

If I turn off "automatically print" the user can go into the fax console and print received faxes manually all day with no problem.

PC is logged in with a domain account which has local admin rights.

Another printer is installed, a Lexmark all-in-one inkjet with scanner, which does not have Win7 drivers. Lexmark's site said to use Vista drivers. It's actually only used for the scanner function since it's mechanically damaged in the printer hardware, and that works OK from within the Win7 fax and scan console.

I would very much to have auto-print working on received faxes. This machine replaced an XP machine which was doing that, and the user needs no "adjustments" to their operating procedures.
