I need assistance with a temporary solution for a downed voicemail system. I've read a bunch of posts but still haven't found one that will help me with this issue...

I have phone with CLS UNR CFXA SFA (was CTD - just changed for testing purposes). I need to foward it to a cell phone number (and yes, I know all the toll fraud issues - this is a temporary fix and a waiver has been signed).

Have tested these scenarios:
(the first is the preferred method by the customer)

1: HUNT/FDN/CFW to 9xxxxxx - internal calls work fine; external calls get routed to the operator on CFWD; FNA will ring several times, then blip for a second and ring again to the same extension.

2: HUNT/FDN/CFW to ACD NCFW to 9xxxxxx - internal calls work fine; all external calls go the operator

3: HUNT/FDN/CFW to access code + xxxxxxx - all calls get fast busy (even if dialing direct from the extension, the call gets fast busy and I get two BUG codes: BUG0040 BUG1366

Route has FTR OPT CFF and members are UNR, NCOS 0, TARG is blank.
NET_DATA has TRNX YES EXTT YES FTOP FTLY

Any ideas?

Maybe a wild goose chase but check your pni. I see 0 in the rdb. See how its set in the cdb. I've seen some funny things happen when the settings don't match.

Never could get this worked out; however, MerMail was finally installed, so it looks like I'm off the hook for this one (although I'd really love to know what it was...) If I have some time, I may check that PNI RickyPone and no, bear - they were routing to the operator although programming was routing to an external number. See programming above. Thanks everyone for the input!

You may be on to something Ricky - PNI is 1 in the CDB - any suggestions which way to change it? I don't want to break something that isn't broken...

Changed it to 1 on the route, but an external call still routes to the operator. No joy...

I see your trouble. ART is set to one. Someone has tbar set up.

ART in the route is set to one. There is a table set up and each type of route is assigned a number. Been a long time for me, look in ld 56.

That did it! Good catch, Ricky... I changed the ART for the DID trunk to 0 and the test was successful. Thanks for taking the time to assist... everyone please give Ricky a star! :)

No worries - I appreciate your time... hopefully I can return the favor sometime!
