Has anyone been able to get an external bell (90V) to ring on a 406V2 digital extension? Analog port doesn't send out enough voltage. External electronic ringers are not loud enough to be heard over the machinery.

What you need is something with an external transformer using the ringing from an alog port to trigger a relay.

Fooball is not a matter of life and death-It is far more important!!!!

Any suggestions? Do you mean a dry contact closure?

Valcom makes a V9925 electronic ringer; it requires an external Valcom power supply (the VP324 should suffice for only one ringer). Either connect the tip/ring from the ringer lead to an analog port, or bridge it to a single line telephone - it's one of the loudest ringers on the market.

I had the same problem last week. I made a circuit that consists of "Pre-Amplifier" to amplify the frequency and keep the voltage in the same level.

Hope this can help.

What you need is an external bell relais. On site off the relais is connected to the IP Office, On site is connected to the 240AC Power an the other site is connected to the external bell. With this option you can use anny type off bell to connect the IP Office
