External Auto Answer For Queues using 9608 phones 1

Hi All, I have read all the tips and docs and can set this up to work using digital phones using the Internal Auto Answer button with 'FF' as the action data and the headset button on. But when using IP phones the the Headset button does not stay engaged, when you end a call the headset button turns off as well, if you press the headset button and then drop it disconnects the head set button as well. How do I keep the headset button active on the IP Phone? Thanks for any advice.

There are a lot of headset settings in the 46xxsettings.txt file. You may have to look through the descriptions for find the one that pertains to your scenario.

Been there, done that
 
You will need to edit a 46xxsettings.txt file and add "SET HEADSYS 1". Then upload this file to the SD card. This works perfetly for me on 9608 IP phones. The headset button will stay on when you end a call.
