Good Morning all,

Can anyone tell me why my imbedded Audix vm in my G450 6.3 gives me the message "Extension not valid" when we try to transfer a voicemail from one box to another? I checked as many of the threads as I could in the past 3 days but haven't found an answer, I also googled it and nothing. I also made sure the ext are entered in the audix under the admin tab and have gone through everything I can think of to activate it on the switch but it still wont work.

Any help is appreciated!!!

After I record a message and hit # then I enter the extension and press # it says "extension not valid" and if I hit # again it says no addressee assigned. Weird huh!

yes it is I would do a reboot at this point seeing you can call and leave a voicemail but will not work on a transfer, did you look at the denied transfer table I mentioned earlier, I sent you the pdf on it

I am reading through it now thanks for the info!

I'll post back tomorrow with results from the reboot tonight. I really appreciate all your help!

Hope that works as I can not think of anything else to resolve this issue

No I forgot it was election day here and the poles and Clerks Office were open late so I will do it tonight. Thanks for checking!

Well I rebooted multiple times and it still doesn't work!

anyone else have a clue here, I would open a case up with Avaya then if you have support.

Yeah I guess I'll call my vendor and see if they can fix it. Thanks for all your help!!!

Problem Clarification
Issue with CMM when user try to record message and send to someone. the system announces: EXTENSION NOT VALID

Cause
Wrong dialplan configuration in CMM side.
Solution
1. Navigate to CMM web page.

2. go to messaging server admin.

3. See if there is prefix configured for every range of mailbox numbers.

4. Remove those prefix values and tested.

5. issue should be resolved now.

Joe2938 you are AWESOME! that worked! Once I removed the area code and prefix from the page the forwarding worked then I noticed in the drop down for that value it says you only need it programmed if you have networked voicemail systems. Thank you soooo much for following up!
