Good Morning all,

Can anyone tell me why my imbedded Audix vm in my G450 6.3 gives me the message "Extension not valid" when we try to transfer a voicemail from one box to another? I checked as many of the threads as I could in the past 3 days but haven't found an answer, I also googled it and nothing. I also made sure the ext are entered in the audix under the admin tab and have gone through everything I can think of to activate it on the switch but it still wont work.

Any help is appreciated!!!

Yes the voicemail box picks up just fine and you can leave a message.

is it just this 1 mailbox with the transfer issue or all of them?

has to be a system wide setting then, look at the cos of the mailboxes

What would I be looking for? All the settings look ok when I go into the COS nothing jumps out as blocking message transfer.

Ok thanks for your help I will go through all my COS settings again and see if I notice anything!

do a display system features and what is the transfer type set to? have a feeling your transfers are set to none, change it to enhanced_cover_0

Okay I did that and it was already set to enhanced cover. Any other ideas?

And your transfer restrictions is set to subscribers right

how are you trying to transfer a message from a mailbox to another mailbox?

just to be clear is this Audix IA770 or cm messaging?

what are you dialing from the mailbox to transfer to another mailbox?

I have a feeling that you may be transferring incorrectly out from a mailbox, tell me exactly after listening to the message how you are transferring it to another mailbox

After listening to the message it says to push 1 to respond or forward then 2 to forward with comment and after you leave a comment hit# and put in the extension number and then # to send. This is the way we have always done it so I thought it would be the same with the new system. Is there another way?

# needs to be hit a 3rd time to send, press 2 record message after message hit # to end recording, enter extension then # if no more extensions then hit # 1 more time to send
