extension is called from external number the main attendant phone and the extension phone rings 2

Okay I have a conundrum whenever someone outside our organization call a particular number in our office both the attendant and the extension number rings.
At first I thought it was being forwarded but even if I un-forward calls by hitting feature # 4 it still rings on both phone.
I then thought maybe the voice mail is full so I delete the vm and reactivate it. It still rings on both phone. Please help
 
Maybe it’s ringing the huntgroup.

Go in to the Ipo Manager programme and remove the 2nd extension from the huntgroup
 
Start at the incoming call route associated with that telephone number, then look at dest tab.

@joe2938 can I do that using the phone to look at the call route
 
I would check some of these settings.
1.Lines> Select Line> Incoming Group ID- Determine which incoming call route to look at
2.Incoming Call Route> Route# for the lines Incoming Group ID > Destination- Determines where that line rings to. Check for duplicate routes with different destinations.
3.Users> Buttons- Check for Line App. buttons with immediate ring or cover keys for other users.
