Hi everyone. I recently migrated from excgange 5.5 to exchange 2003 within a 2000 domain environment.During the migration period i had occasions when the 2003 exchange would be unavailable. in the event viewer i had ldap errors and global catalog complaints. however these stopped when i removed my 5.5 server and i put it down to the ad connector. However this problem has now showed up a gain and the exchange machine has again started becoming unavailable. if it is left it will eventually find the Global catalog after 20 mins and be fine . if i restart the machine it will be fine but this is obviously not ideal. Any ideas ???

What are the DSACCess errors you get in the event logs.
This might give you a start. Also enable debugging on the exchange for the DSACCESS component. Exchange system manager - drill down to your server - Properties - Diagnostics logging -
