I have a customer who we installed recently onto R9.1 with an R9.1 Essential Edition License (339096) on a new system. We need to down grade them to R9.0 temporarily for testing purposes. They have 2 sites, one that is on R9.0 and working with one-X Communicator on an iPad. The site with R9.1 will not connect the one-X Communicator on the iPad. We may need to downgrade the R9.1 site to R9.0 rather than upgrade the R9.0 site to R9.1 when we connect the two sites together over the weekend. We are exploring other options on getting one-X Communicator to work on the iPad with R9.1 in the meantime.
Here is my actual question - If I do end up downgrading the R9.1 with the R9.1 Essential Edition License, will it be a valid license on R9.0 software or will the R9.0 version not know how to recognize that license. I have called our distributor tech support and their answer was, it should. I'm not looking for an "It Should". I am looking to see if anyone has done it. Keeping in mind, this system has made calls and been active on R9.1 for at least a month. I am trying to decide if I need to throw an R9.0 Essential Edition (275631) on the SD for insurance or if anyone has done this and knows 100% that the system will still work.
Thank you in advance.
