I'm trying to upload firmware to the clan board from the staged oarea on my pc. when I type ftp and the IP address of the c-lan board I get an error unknown error number. Doesn't appear that I'm connected but i can ping the board no problem. I have file transfer open on the source board.

make sure you're not using sftp...

when you go to enable filexfer, do you have secure? set to 'n'?
