Error : "No Function Code" 1

I have quite a number of i2210 WLAN handsets that have this error after a firmware upgrade. I understand the cause(new firmware download was interrupted) but is there anyway to clear this error or reset phone to factory default?

I've found this out below.

new s/w and f/w can be found on the Nortel site by searching on WLAN

To upgrade the hansets we need to connect a TFTP server with the latest f/w to the lan.
The TFTP s/w can be dowloaded from the net (suggest 3COM) onto a laptop.
NOTE: the handsets are shipped with no firmware loaded. For first-time use, load the firmware onto the local TFTP server and specify the IP address of the TFTP server in the handset options menu.

Problem:
Wlan handsets, 2210,2211 & 2212 running v97.064 firmware not registering with the SVP II and the IP Line application after the SVP II has been upgraded to 174.024.
Fix:
Fit patches 20330 & 20117 to the sig server and/or media cards to give support as per product bulletin
P-2006-0032.

Rls 4.0T and IP Line 4.00.xx require patches 20330 & 20117. Rls 4.50W and IP Line 4.50.XX require only patch 20330 on the Sig Server and the media card.

Finally this was found below.

Two problems have been discovered with firmware release 97.067 on WLAN handsets 2210, 2211 and 2212:

Problem 1:
97.067 firmware caused a short battery life.

Problem 2:
Problems in registration occur when a Trapeze solution with both WPA and WPA2 security encryptions would try to register a WLAN phone with a WPA2 scheme.

RECOMMENDATIONS
Customers operating 221x phones with 97.067 firmware must upgrade their phones to 97.070 firmware in order to avoid problems with a short battery life, and WPA / WPA2 security problems.

Handset Configuration Cradle Version 2.11.07 firmware corrects a defect in the previous Handset Configuration Cradle software.

Firmware Download Instructions:
WLAN Handsets may not have the current GA version of the firmware when shipped from Nortel warehouse. On installation and subsequent rebooting the handsets will look to the TFTP server for the latest firmware version which must have been downloaded from the nortel.com website and placed on the TFTP server.

Version 97.070 firmware is compatible with either new or existing WLAN Handsets 2210/2211/2212.
