The Event viewer consistently flags up the following errors at boot up:
Application error
Event Type: Error
Event Source: TrueVector Service
Event Category: None
Event ID: 5007
Description:
TrueVector engine: File "K:\WINDOWS\Internet Logs\XPALL22AUG03.ldb" was corrupt and has been copied to "K:\WINDOWS\Internet Logs\xDB19.tmp". File "K:\WINDOWS\Internet Logs\XPALL22AUG03.ldb" was corrupt and has been deleted.
Event Type: Error
Event Source: TrueVector Service
Event Category: None
Event ID: 5009
Description:
TrueVector engine: Timeout on debug mutex
System error
Event Type: Error
Event Source: Service Control Manager
Event Category: None
Event ID: 7002
Description:
The Routing and Remote Access service depends on the NetBIOSGroup group and no member of this group started.
This on a stand alone system, XP home, no LAN, only Dial Up modem for inernet use. Zone Alarm firewall (free download) and Norton System Works 2002 antivirus load at startup.
I have found a series of xDB*.tmp logs but cannot read them.
I have checked various sites via Google and the Microsoft link, but I cannot decide what action I should take to get rid of these errors. It seems to me that I must have made a mistake and installed some network option during Windows installation that was not required on a non-network system.
I would be grateful for any suggestion for getting rid of these errors, other than not opening event viewer.
