Equinox with IP Office 10.1 - how to? 2

Hi all Tek-Tip,

I'm having some issues with the Equinox on IP Offcie SE 10.1.
The setup is a Server Edition (VMware) with the one-X + equinox service active. Trying to use the Equinox app (Android) on a Wi-Fi only setup (no 3G/4G). We can login the etxn. but there is no contacts or presences in the app.
The user/extn. has a Office Worker licens + 3rd party IP endp./SIP extn.

What am I missing out here? Please help...

Equinox isn't for IP Office yet, think it will be released with R11.

The service in 10.1 is for an application call "Equinox Select", not "Equinox". "Equinox Select" is a WebRTC client that is supported in Windows Chrome - nothing to do with any separate Equinox apps.

You need to also be running the WebRTC Gateway service and then any user able to login to one-X Portal can also use Equinox Select by logging in at

https://<server>:9443/equinox.

And if you read the 10.1 docs you'll discover its only available for customer feedback - a nebulous support state where if you find any issues they'll say "meh".

Stuck in a never ending cycle of file copying.
