In a short time I'm going to be tasked with upgrading our in-house system (an on-prem IPO 500v2) to R11 with the intent of being able to deploy the Equinox client. I'm a little confused and re-reading my notes on the R11 release is not providing me with the details I need. I've got plenty of Power User and other flavours of user licenses so that is not a concern.

Is there an install guide for Equinox services? I can't find one that tells me how to add Equinox to an IPO.

If there is no guide then:

Equinox replaces and doesn't talk to One-X. Great. I hated One-X. Do I need a server on site running something for Equinox? If yes, what OS does it run on? Only the Linux based App Server, or does it run on Windows? If yes to Windows, does it run on Win10 Pro or do I need Windows Server OS?

What, if anything, do I need to open up on my network firewall to provide functionality and integration with mobile apps on the mobile network and to Zang Spaces for IM / collaboration?

Thanks for your continued assistance. The community here is a much appreciated resource.

Equinox to use IPO R11 for Audio, Zang for Collaboration, Avaya Equinox Meetings Online for meetings...
ONE-X is a beauty queen compared to this...
This is the Avaya "Frankenstein" app.
All we need is Gene Wilder and Marty Feldman...and a young Terri Garr :)
