Customer wants to be able to receive the incoming extension number on the Engenius DuraFon...is this possible? I know the phone is analog but it is an Engenius right?

The Engenius extension won't go through the IP Office. It does have its own IP Office extension via the analog port it is plugged into, but unless you match that to the Engenius phone they will be different (and since the Engenius phones start 10, 11, 12 it is not advisable to number the IP Office that way unless it is a small system).

Since the extensions are three digits then extension ID is a no go, this could be a problem. I know this has been discussed extensively in this forum before but I am still scratching my head trying to figure out why Avaya stopped producing the 3900 wireless phones...!!

If the Engenius is being used off an analog extension port, then there should be no reason why you can't get something to ring on it. Just put the Engenius extension in the group, or forward something to it etc.

Figure it out damn-it!

An Engenius DuraFon single station will work just fine when connected to an IPO analog station port. Caller ID will work like a champ. I think Telecomboy is referring to the Engenius multi-phone systems - they would be a bit squirrely on IPO.

You wouldn't want them to, we don't sell any Avaya DECT of any type, nearly always more trouble than it's worth :)
