Hi

I have 2 3711 IP Dect phones that are constantly busy before 0900. but at 0900 they reapear in the system manager tool.

I have removed user rights from them and have allowed them tobe dialed all the time. but they are still failing.

Anybody had this before???

How many base stations do you have?
Is the base station (i assume you have one) powered by POE or with a local power supply?
I suspect that when the lights are turned on the base station gets power too and then puzzle is complete.

BAZINGA!

I'm not insane, my mother had me tested!

If only it were that simple

I have 3 Base stations at that site and about 10 DECT phones, the other phones all work at this point but just these 2 don't

All the bases are powered over POE as well as the system phones, everything else stays up but not these 2 phones.

Does the problem follow the user/extn or the handset, that will narrow it down :)

the problem is clearly that the phones are engaged... if they were married, they would never be busy before 9 am.

Sorry, couldn't resist.

It is time related so look for time profiles, user rights etc etc.

AMRiddle01 - Not sure as they are general handsets for sales staff so they always stay with the one extension

Graybeard191 - thank you for that invalubale peice of advice!!

tlpeter - I have compleatley removed the time profile from both extensions and user rights. I will check again!!

I would change the handset the extn is assigned to, that will show if it's dodgy handsets or a programming issue or may even fix it :)
