Enabling TTY Port in REL 6.0

I am trying to enable a TTY port and have a time trying to do it. I get this everytime I try
>ld 37
IOD000
.enl tty 14

IOD314

here is the TTY port in the switch
ADAN TTY 14
CTYP PTY
DNUM 14
PORT 1
DES OTM2
FLOW NO
USER SCH CTY
XSM NO
TTYLOG 65000
BANR NO
Any thoughts of what I maybe doing wrong?

can you enl a PTY? What does it say when you stat in ld 37?

Pty's are always disabled unless they are in use

they live that way, it will not prevent connect

Thanks, I am trying to use this PTY for OTM 4.0 to connect to the system.

then use it.. it will not show enabled or idle.. your otm will (should) connect without a problem..

the ones i posted were built for otm.. and it did connect one time

I have compaired the two PTY ports and I am getting a error from OTM stating the login is incorrect or the session is already in use, gonna reboot the server and see that helps. Thanks for all of your help with this matter and issues in the past.

How many PTY's are built? You'll get that if they're all busy. Build more. Everyone is correct - you can not enable PTY's; they enable automatically.
