I've set up my 911 and 9911 in my ARS table in a Mitel SX-200 AX ICP. However, when testing them they do not ring or alarm on the console. I need them to ring on the console. I'd be grateful if someone could point me in the right direction.
All of the options above are enabled and 911 is flagged as an emergency route in ARS. However, it's still not ringing on the console. In theory, I should be able to flag any route in ARS as EMEERGENCY and it should ring the console correct? I tried flagging other routes in ARS as emergency and none of them are ringing the console.
Is a maintenance log being generated by the 911 call? If not, there may be a programming error in the ARS. If there are any digits besides 911 being sent on the trunk the system will not see the 911 call.
I'm certified for a 3300. However, I have not been certfied for the 200. Can someone kindly direct me to the maintenance log? I'm assuming this is where I can program a call trap so that when I dial 911 or 9911 I can see what is going on in ARS.
I figured out how to view the maintenance log in the SX200. It's stripping the 9 and inserting 911.
To stop bugging emergency services, I've set up 411 as an emergency route and the same problem is still occurring. The console is not being alerted when a call goes out over the route flagged as emergency.
I doubt the maintenance log would tell you details like stripping of digits
When logged in on the CDE side menu option 9 will take you to the maintenance side
7 is Logs
Then show
Then all logs
They will display 4 at a time with a more option
If you do not see 911 logs then the system is not detecting them.
I am uncertain if 411 can be substituted. Designating as an emergency call simply removes restrictions. I'm confident that the 200 needs to see 911 dialled.
I know the 3300 does not, so take my word for it

@kwiMitel, when I'm logged into CDE, menu option 9 is Desktop Device Assignments. I entered the Maintenance side for the heck of it. I found option 7 as Logs. I entered it but found no option for show.
If you want to test without actually calling 911 then you can loop back and analog trunk to an analog station and make the call go out the analog trunk.
Make sure you remove this route once testing is complete and test at least 1 real 911 call.

Wow! So, for grins and giggles, I moved the circuit(existing) back to the old PBX. Tried to make a 911 call over the old PBX and am still not able to get out to emergency services. Called the provider, AT&T, and they inform me that they do not pass 911 calls out over a T1. It must route over a CO line. SMH...
