I am trying to set up a scenario where console opertors will be alerted via a button on Softconsole that an emergency call is coming in. We got the feature to work vis dialing a feature access code. It works as designed, lights the Emergency button so the operator can put a call on hold and answeer the emergency. All that is fine.
Here's the problem....we want users in house and from the outside to be able to dial an extension and activate this feature, basically we want to "forward" the extension to the feature access code. We can plug the extension in as the feature access code and that solves the in house issue but outside callers have no way to the operator. This also linits us to one emergency number.
Ideas?
