EMC-CX400:Extra device

We have a CX400 that we are implementing using solaris 8 as the host. We bind 2 luns and when we run format on our host we now have an extra device for lun id 0 . Why? Is this normal and we are looking at it to detail

Are you using AccessLogix? if so, did you issue a &quot;reboot -- -r&quot; (or drvconfig disks) after connecting the CX400 to the SUN (both FC channels) BUT before assign any LUN?

Well we figured out that our sd.conf was incorrect we had only 2 entries per target per lun. We really needed 4 entries per target per lun, because we have 2 hba's.
