Embedded Voicemail 3

A client has an IPO500 V2 9.1 PBX with Embedded Voicemail.
They now have 1105 new messages in one mailbox. Can they ( or we ) somehow erase all the messages at once?

use a serial cable and use the below commands:
ivm-help - Embedded Voicemail Commands
ivm-mbox-show - Show mailboxes
ivm-mbox-show nnn Show contents of specified mailbox
ivm-mbox-clear nnn Clear specified mailbox
ivm-msg-del nnn dd/dd/dd hh:mm:ss Delete specified message
ivm-msg-del-all - Delete all voicemail messages

You can add "PATCHES=0x200" in the NoUser sourcecode list and after a reboot you can telnet to the IP Office and execute the ivm commands.

Be aware that enabling Telnet access is a severe security risk as there is no secure login!
I use it sometimes if the rear of the IP Office unit cannot be reached to attach a serial cable or when I only have remote access.

Always remove the source number when finished and reboot the system!

I would also be concerned at that amount of voice mail messages, could be a hacker trying to find a hole in your security
