Embedded Voicemail Issues

Hi

I have a ip500V2 on version 9.0.200.860 they are running embedded voicemail. The issue is when we are trying to record greeting we run through the normal voicemail collect shortcode, then enter passcode.

The issue is when we go to press 3 to enter the greetings menu the phone just beeps at me not taking me into the menu.

I am thinking along the line of recreating the SD may resolve the issue, however, if anyone else has any information please do let me know.

I think you are missing the correct audio files on embedded VM OR your SD card is corrupted.
To check for a corrupt SD card take it from the IP Office and put it in a card reader on your PC and inspect the files, if the names are (partially) garbage then recreate the SD card, if not then copy all the embedded voicmail files onto the SD card and try again.
A reboot may be required.

A reboot of the system has been carried out that was my first initial instinct. I think a recreation of the SD would be the best way forward.

Format SD card & recreation SD will correct your problem.

I would double check that the files were loaded. There is a button to add/display the loaded languages on the voicemail tab. The button only shows up when you are connected to the system, I have had more than one install that didn't load any prompts until it was done manually.
