Embedded VM Question on 3300 / Call Back

We just migrated to embedded voicemail and if someone hangs up when hearing a greeting they receive a callback. I am wondering if we can disable this?

Interesting.
Haven't seen that one.
Check the COS of the VM ports and be sure that On hook dialing is disabled.

Do you know if its possible to forward a call to someones voicemail and have it play the greeting for the mailbox? Currently we press "vm extension # mailbox extension" and it plays the name then beeps for the person to leave a voicemail but doesnt play the persons greeting..

-make a voice hunt goup *1234 (*extension) for every extension you want to be able to transfer to VM
-create "Call rerouting always alternative" to reroute everything to voicemail pilot number ( main VM hunt group)
-assign Call rerouting always alternative number that you just created to all *1234 (*extension) numbers


now if you can dial *1234 (*extension) it should go to the 1234 voicemail greeting and you can leave a message.

if you want to transfer to voicemail, just transfer to *1234
