We have a IPO500 v2 Rls. 8.1 with embedded vm. We programmed the AA with messages on *8101, *8201, *8301 and *8401. The problem is during the day the message *8101 plays and then the message *8401 plays after it. Is this a known problem? *8401 comes on on off hours and works fine but during the day both messages are heard. Any suggestions will be appreciated.

i believe *8101 is the initial greeting.. i either record a few seconds of silence or a thank you for calling (company name)

Working as it is designed. Main Greeting morning *8101, afternoon*8202, evening *8301, then *8401 menu prompt. I personally do not like using it that way.

I usually only use the menu prompt and setup 3 seperate Auto Attendaants. Day,Night,Holiday

typo on afternoon.

If you only wish to play one greeting with the same touch tone actions 24/7 (no time profiles), just record it using *8401, if this is Auto Attendant 01.

Indeed, you record the menu options on *8401, the other are literally only to record the words "Good morning" or "Good afternoon" etc to be played before the menu options, they don't replace it they are simply played before it if in the relevant time profile :)
