Embedded VM - HG plays system greeting only

I have a customer with an IPO 500 and embedded Voicemail, and not upgraded to professional edition (only standard). On their 2 hunt groups, it will only play the generic system greeting, not the personal greeting they recorded. We've reseated the slot card and rebooted, re-recorded several times but can't get it to play the recorded greeting...ideas?
 
Was the greeting activated for outside calls & inside calls? Are you testing both?
 
I have this escalated as a case at the moment.

ACA - IP Office Implement
ACS - IP Office Implement
ACE - IP Office Implement
ACI - IP Office Implement
 
Embedded VM doesn't give the option to activate a greeting, just 1. Listen, 2. Change, 3. Save, 4. Save in continuous loop.

I choose 1. Listen and it plays the recorded greeting, but not for callers.

PlatinumGuy, sounds like a 4.0 bug? We are on 4.0.7.
 
Is this for all groups on the VM

I have a Standard Edition IP500 4.0.7 with embedded installed for a customer and the greetings all play fine. Night and Day.

Do you have spaces or non alphanumberics in your group name?? Have you got a unique extn assigned in the group???

Both groups have extensions (3000 and 3100) and everything else works fine...call routing, AA, etc.
They do, however, have a space in their names. I wasn't aware that would cause an issue, will change that and see what happens.
 
The issue i have escalated is the following.

I have a group in fallback to the night group. I have a virtual use in there forwarded to short code......

*98 "#Night" vmcollect

I have recorded all greetings in the night mailbox, i can go back in and listen to them, they are saved.

When a call comes in to the night group it follows the forward to the right mailbox but all i get is the default greeting despite the fact i have all recordngs possible made.

This has been passed to me by 2 resellers with the same issue and i recreated it first time, i would say this is a bug.

We have tried this also and the IPO keeps coming back to the primary hunt group to record its messages. It will not go to the night hunt group. We had to do major work-arounds using voip extensions and AA's to get this to work the way we wanted it to so we would be overjoyed if someone can show us a way it will work with just a fallback group :)

Embedded always goes to the Voicemail of the primary group. It is how it works.

The only way round is virtual diverts to short codes going to another M/B
