Embedded VM Cx 5.0 tech-admin-manag levels

Hey,

I've tried to do a reinstall of the voicemail from all three levels from the admin MB (9999), and managed to do so. I've changed all three passwords, and whichever level I choose, the system doesn't bar me from proceeding after the first step.

Anybody else seen this? I'm at 5.0 (SP1). My worry is that I have to give access to the admin to change the temporary messages on holidays, but I'm worried about the same old problem: the human element.

From what I remember from embedded, only the tech level should be allowed to reinstall, not the other 2.

I think you will find that although the message is played advising that the system will be reset , it does nothing if selected on the manager login.

only when logged in as tech or admin does the syetem reset option take effect.

If I never did anything I'd never done before , I'd never do anything.....
 
Or to put it another way, The prompts don't change, but the access does.

Log in as Manager and press 1
