Just venting some anger as there is an issue with Embedded VM not disconnecting analogue lines until after about 20 seconds after a caller has hung up and Avaya (Tier 4) say they know about it but won't be doing anything about it as that is how it is. If that is their attitiude then I guess we will just put Panasonics in instead on analogue lines.

Embedded voicemail and analog ports has nothing to do with each other
The system must detect a disconnect or does it is self

I think you would not do any better with Panasonic to be honest

Must have something to do with each other somehow on 4.2 as it clears down on other releases and if you hang up from the phone the call clears straight away so it can't be the disconnect clear. Why would tier 4 acknowledge the issue and then say they won't be doing anything about it. Happens on all sites we have installed recently on analogue lines.

They are probably not building a private build because it is not urgent enough
It disconnects in a not very long time
I admit it is annoying
Maybe it is fixed in 4.2 Q3 release

If they intend to fix it on the next release or even V5, that's fine but they haven't given that response and have just dismissed it. Will chase again to see what they are going to do.

have you got the disconnect clear timer set to 150ms less than the provider?
