We moved the switch this weekend and now we can't dial out. We can dial in but outbound calls get dead air. You dial 9, get dial tone, then dead air followed by a busy tone (or reorder tone/fast busy, can't remember which one).
It is on a new PRI Circuit but the telco assures us that it is set up exactly the same as the old one.
Any ideas?

Telco just told us that they are using NI2. does this system support this?
I only see ESf and frame.

I am sure you have the answer by now. For the record, the manual indicates that NI-2 is a hardware setting on the pri card.

SW1–1 | SW1–2 | SW1–3 | SW1–4 | Protocol
ON | ON | ON | OFF | NI-2

has this issue been resolved I have the same exact thing and it cannot be figured out

I've run into this problem repeatedly, especially when changing Telco providers (Here is ACS vs GCI, for example)

They say the settings are the same but the span is usually UP but not working.

I go through my programming and ask them to do the same thing manually step by step and they inevitably find something wrong on their end.

That's what's worked for me.

Our settings would be:

1-8-33 (DTI slot number)
1-13-00 Channel selection MOST LIKEY MISMATCH-make sure
this matches Telco setting
1-13-01 ESF
1-13-02 B8ZS
3-03 Group 01 Make sure ony used trunks are in this group
3-91 DID
3-91 DID
3-14 Wink
3-21 180
3-22 300

Good luck.
