I was just given a BCM 450 5.0 to repurpose and I'm having problems with some of the Element Manager screens freezing up. Hoping someone has seen this issue before. I'm on the initial stages of setup and everything was working fine for awhile. I get the hour glass to wait for the screen to refresh, but it doesn't go away. I can still go into other menus, but when I return to the page the hour glass remains. Tried rebooting the system and re-installing Element Manager with no luck. The menu screens I'm having problems with are the Configuration-Telephony Resource and the Admin-Alarm page. I'm trying to get my MBM's configured, but the configuration screen under the resources, doesn't display. All I get is the hour glass. It will still let me add devices, disable, enable and select configure, but the cursor remains the hour glass. Thinking it's a problem with the Element Manager software and the PC it's loaded on? I'm running WinXP with SP3, Element Manager ver 60.3.0. JAVA 1.1.7 (Element Manager loaded Java. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

And if no internet access you can also download the EM from the BCM itself via the browser and it's IP address.

Also check the FAQ's where your issues might be addressed:

Looks like all good advice and very much appreciate the responses. Just keep running into Java issues not allowing the BCM windows to populate. Tried to download the EM from the BCM using the "Non-Java enabled browser" option, but the download link isn't showing up on the page under the narrative and same on the BCM Monitor download page. The XP machine is a standalone desktop running XP as an admin terminal for the BCM. I have internet access using my Win7 machine, but network servers here at work won't let the webpage from the " website display the download screen. Added it to the Java exceptions, but still won't display.

On my XP machine when trying the webpage interface, I receive the error shown in the attachment I've added. My only research has lead me to think this is a screen resolution issue. Windows suggest using 640 × 480 screen resolution, but the PC only goes down to 800 x 600. I borrowed a coworkers CF 29 running win7 & Java 7 and everything with the BCM works as advertised. I can login to the EM through the BCM webpage and work with no issues. The CF 29 has a much smaller screen. Haven't been able to check resolution yet.

What browser and version are you using?

Look for my last post in the 2nd link that exsmogger posted above and download the file I attached at the bottom of the post, I am still waiting for somebody to try it to see if it works before I updated it with the rest of the links.

No need for screenshots unless requested, will save you the effort.
