Echo on SIP B179 Conference Phones

Hey All,

Conference phone B179 when calling from 9608 to B179 I hear echo on my side (caller side 9608) B179 side does not hear the echo.

What settings would you recommend to help with this?

IPO 500v2 9.0 on VLAN network with only voice traffic on it

You can call me simple, but just in case, the 9608 and the B179 aren't anywhere near each other are they? The B179 is intended as a conference speakerphone and so has software/hardware to deal with hearing the incoming call on its multiple microphones. The 9608 not so sophisticated because it doesn't need to be (speaking as someone who regularly tests call scenarios with phones on the same bench - mute is my friend).

Stuck in a never ending cycle of file copying.

Yeah the phones were actually located in different locations. So maybe that was part of the issue? I called the conference phone from my remote 9808 and I could hear echo on my end.

Perhaps the room where it is in is small and the sound echo's from the wall in to the mic of the B179?
It is a sensitive phone.
