EC500 set up 1

I am trying to set up s button on a 6408D+ so that I can progamm a button to send calls to a cell phone. I have ec500 license. I have the old G3 version 11 were I type command "cha xmobile config-
Can some please show me how to do this? Or is there another way?
 
you'll need to test it from a different phone besides your cell and your extension. When you call from your cell phone, the system thinks that you are calling yourself and therefore will go to coverage.
 
I had someone else call with thier cell phone and it goes to VM.

I am taking this call out my LD trunk, hence the change from "9" to "8" on the setup digits.  Yours should stay "9#######".

Please look over my settings and the make any necessary changes. On the station only your cell number should be in the CellPhone Number field, NO leading 9. Then post a "list trace station 4099" while attempting a call and be sure to bracket it with the code tags. We'll go from there if it's still not working.
 
i CALLED MY STAION 4114 FROM SOMEONES CELL AND THIS IS THE LIST TRACE. yOU ARE CALLING FROM THE XMOBILE STATION AND i DONT KNOW HOW TO DO THAT. i DONT KNOW HOW TO CALL FROM STA 4099 CUS ITS VIRTUAL. aLL i WANT MY OFFICE STA 4114 TO SEND ALL CALLS TO MY CELL

All of the information above should get you where you need to be. I have helped as much as I can, sans dialing into your system and configuring/troubleshooting it myself.

In your original post you wanted to implement ec500, not call-forwarding off-net. I've spent 6 days on this and I'm afraid that I am done here. :-( Sorry.

If someone else wants to take a stab at this, feel free.
 
did you ever get this working then?
I'm also trying to setup EC500 on a system at release R011x.02

I'm getting error when user is trying to activate EC500. First denial event I was getting was: #1642 which states that station off-hook-alert feature activation No off hook alert timeout. So I changed the Station COS to allow: off-hook alert.

Now getting denial event 1712: station originated off-hook-alert feature activation but no off-hook-alert timeout interval is administered. When I look at System-parameter features on Page 3: time before off-hook alert: set to 10.

when looking at your set up for xmobile station and station don't see that you are using COS with off-hook alert. Not sure what I'm doing wrong. followed manual that was attached for EC500 Release 4 but no guidelines what I need to do to allow user to get logged in properly on this release.
 
what i did was add an abrvd button to enable ec500 & a button to disable it. you can do it as a sys abb, pers abb, or an autodial, i set it as an autodial, i put the FAC to enable followed by my station number.
 
I have this setup, and I have just an EC500 button on my phone. When I press the button, it enables the function. All my calls ring to my cell. When the light is not on, then the phone functions normally.

I am using a G3 V11.3, using the XMobile station. This is setup completely different under version 12 and 13 (CM2 and CM3).

FYI I was able to resolve the denial events. Ended up I didn't have a security code entered on the original Station's setup. Had security code on Xmobile station but not on Main Station--didn't see in manual where security code was needed on the main digital station.

I have EC500 working now.
 
I have enabled it on my desk station and the virtual xmobile station. I have allowed off hook alert and still no dice. I cant imagine what Im missing?
