Sorry to wladimiravila for putting my question inside his/her thread but I think they are nearly the same.

Can someone please explain in detailed steps which is the procedure to install a new system from the very begining? (format the existing one). How to have curent licenses stored in order to activate the system after the installation. My system is Nice call focus 3

There should be software that came with the logger. In there is a config file, probably on the 'Enhanced SW' disk. On it should be a folder with all numbers. Inside there should be a summary.doc. If you can get the contents of that, we should be able to tell you what you have.

I browsed all the four CD, part of recovery kit.
They are labeled as NiceCall Focus 3 Image CD WinXP 1-4.
Inside each of them were three files; two identic at each CD: ghost, ghstwalk and NCH3LS.gho, NCF3L001.ghs up to NCF3L003.ghs at each CD.

May I have some further feedback?

There it is. On the Call Focus 3 Documentation CD, there will be a PDF on how to restore your system from total catastrophic failure. I had to rebuild my system about 6 times before I got it right. If I know it to be correct, you'll have a manual that doesn't make a whole lot of sense in places, but it's the place to start. A little patience and some note-taking, and you'll get yourself back up.

Typical install is:
XP Restore Disks -> SQL -> Logger Software -> CLS. There are hotfixes and other things to be mindful of.

I've just installed Nice Digital Logger 9.6.02.22 and HotFix ETAI3 01.00.05. The problem is that the Ntlogger can't start because the ETAI driver can't initialize

From Device manager the driver seems to be ok. I can provide more logs if it's necesary

shutdown the logger and reseat the etai card.check the summary.doc file in d:\ntlogger\logger\config folder to make sure what is in system matches what hardware is in recorder.

Try reseat of card/h100 cable first and check cable terminations etc and then power up to see if this resolves your issue.

another detail. The Syststr tester shows tha thecard is ok but every time I reset the server the card driver is not initialized

hi 9.06.02 is an old service pack. i would load latest which includes this hf its service pack 5 can be downloaded from extranice.

etai driver is installed as part of logger setup.

If you could send us the log from d:\ntlogger\logger\log latest one post a reboot?

the log is quite long I don't know if it's ok to post it here ( may be an e-mail ?). I've looked on extranice site but found nothing related to Etai3.
Meanwhile I found that the Etai card has the same IRQ with Adif4 card, I will try to fix it, but I'm not sure that this is the problem.
