Is there anyplace where i can get ActiveX? I either need to get activeX or be able to register winsck.ocx. I would really appreciate the help. [sig][/sig]

I assume you are referring to the MS WinSock control.

Copy the .OCX file into your Windows\Sysem directory.

From the Windows Start Menu, run RegSvr32 C:\windows\system\MSWinSck.Ocx

psst Cris...If it's an ActiveX control, it's registered the same way. Is this the MS WinSock Control? If so, what version?

Question: Whenever I try to reg. WinSck.ocx I get a LoadLibrary yadda x00000485 error. I checked the site you provided above and it told me what it meant. It just didn't bother to tell me how to go around/fix/something else it.

When I try to register winsck.ocx it comes up with an error message saying:
Loadlibrary (&quot;C:\windows\system\winsck.ocx&quotone of the library files needed to run this application cannot be found.
What do I do about that?

The 0x000000450 error means winsck.ocx is missing files it needs to run.

So if you don't want to download the whole 6mb of activex, the files winsck.ocx needs are nmocod.dll and nmsckn.dll which i got from:

Put them all in \windows\system and run &quot;regsvr32 winsck.ocx&quot; and it should work
