Hi all

I'm trying to get a filter working on a macro.

I have a main form with subform. I'm trying set it up to double click on a record in my subform(datasheet) which opens another form that displays the info from the subform in another single form.

I have a macro that i was trying to filter the single form with this is my filter.

=[Forms]![frmorderitemssingleform]![Item_No].[value] =[Forms]![frmorderitems Subform]![Item_No].[value]

Is there a command that says with active record in form or something similar?

I hope this makes sense

Can anybody help me?

Cheers

Hi again

I found out what the problem was.

Instead of [Forms]![frmorderitemssingleform]![Item_No]

I used the i declared it field through the main form

[Forms]![frmorders]![frmorderitems Subform].[Form]![Item_No]

All now works

Cheers
