Hi,
My first post here, I think - or first in a while anyways.
The company I work for has an old Nortel Meridian PBX and I'm looking into a VOIP phone system, most likely hosted. One of the issues is our main entry door. We have a buzzer with a speaker & mic at the door and use a door open controller on an extension to release the plate and allow entry.
I'm looking for alternatives to having an open door so anyone could just walk in. We need some sort of buzzer system, and the pbx-based system worked well because the door could be answered from the phone. Has anyone heard of something similar, or workable alternatives?
Thanks,
Mike Trout
