I have strimer AutoChanger HP 460 but I can not understand why networker 7.3 don't autimatic change type in a drive. I have a license AutoChanger unlimit slot.
How to solve problem?

Sorry, but i can not understand your message. Once assigned, NW will never change the device type. What do you want to do?

I write to to type without problem - but if type is end (FULL) networker don't change type in changer (library) and I have error on client (TimeOut ...). Why ? and what I must to do?

OK - little typo - you mean 'tape', not 'type'.

What to do - no idea without more infos.
- Did you define the jukebox at all?
- Do you have another media in the same pool?
- can you provide more info?

I define jukebox as a tape library
no I have not another media in a default pool
I label slots from 1 till 7, slot 8 - clean tape
I add register license AutoChanger to Networker 7.3
But when I fill first slot changer not change tape in drive on another.
What infos do you want to see?

This is Windows. Are you sure that the Removable Storage Manager Service is disabled?

O.K. - I know that NW 7.3 will not allow you to configure a jukebox when RSM is enabled. But i have also seen other situations. For instance, in case of an upgrade.

What does the command "mminfo -m" show as result?

O.K. - where is the full tape you mentioned?

Do you have the parameter "Auto media management" set to "Yes"
(Autochanger / Edit / Preferences)
